    Rates & Insurance

At Sona Bata Psychological Services (SBPS), we provide high-quality, comprehensive psychological evaluations for people of all ages. Our goal is to offer clear, actionable insights and recommendations to support your success at school, work, or daily life.

We accept insurance for evaluations services; however, many families and adult clients choose private-pay to access faster scheduling, more comprehensive reports, and personalized attention.

    Private-Pay Rates

All evaluations include intake, testing, report preparation, and a feedback session. Our private-pay fees reflect the comprehensive and specialized nature of our services:

    Service Population Private-Pay Fee
ADHD Evaluation Children (under 18) $2,300
    ADHD Evaluation Adults (18+) $1,800
Autism Evaluation Children (under 18) $3,000
    Autism Evaluation Adults (18+) $2,500
Combined ADHD + Autism Evaluation Children (under 18) $3,500
Combined ADHD + Autism Evaluation Adults (18+) $3,000
Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) School-aged children $3,500
    Immigration Psychological Evaluation Adults $900

    Payment Options:

    • Full payment at the time of scheduling
    • Deposit + balance plan available upon request
    • Superbills are provided for private-pay clients who wish to submit to insurance for possible reimbursement

Private-pay ensures faster report turnaround, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive attention for each client.

    Insurance

SBPS accepts some major insurance plans for evaluations services. Insurance may cover some or all of the evaluation costs depending on your plan and deductible.

Clients who choose to use insurance should:

    • Verify coverage and benefits with their insurance provider
    • Understand that insurance may affect scheduling times and report turnaround
    • Request a superbill if reimbursement is needed for out-of-network plans

Many families and adult clients find that private-pay provides the fastest and most thorough evaluations, while insurance can sometimes involve longer wait times and additional administrative requirements.
